The course is intended for students of parent disciplines. A prerequisite is successful completion of the course DDVL425 Conceptual Thinking I.

Course objectives
The aim of the follow-up course is to further develop the experience gained by students in the previous course and to support their independent pedagogical and creative work. Emphasis is placed on completing and presenting an inspirational portfolio and on the ability to apply the principles of individual artistic disciplines (theater, film and audiovisual, visual arts, music, and dance and movement education) in pedagogical practice. Students will learn to confidently choose and use these principles according to their own preferences and the needs of a specific educational situation. The course will also include training in public presentation of one's own work, sharing experiences with professionals and the wider public, and reflection on professional growth. Teaching will take the form of workshops, consultations, portfolio presentations, and internships at partner institutions. The main output of the course is a complete inspirational portfolio that will document the student's ability to connect different artistic fields and reflect on their use in pedagogical practice.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able to:
- independently apply knowledge of current trends in art education in formal and informal settings;
- creatively apply the principles of various artistic disciplines in their teaching work;
- integrate multimedia principles and digital technologies into theater and interdisciplinary work;
- consciously choose and justify approaches appropriate for specific educational situations;
- reflect on their professional strengths and limitations and develop them in a targeted manner;
- complete and present an inspirational portfolio as a comprehensive output of their work;
- document and publicly defend their own pedagogical and creative projects;
- collaborate with professionals and the wider public and share the results of their work.
Syllabus
  • Application of acquired experience and principles of arts education in own pedagogical and creative projects;
  • Application of principles of film and audiovisual, visual arts, music, and dance and movement education in pedagogical practice;
  • Searching for and verifying suitable methods according to the needs of the student and the specific group;
  • Integrating digital technologies, multimedia, and recording media into one's own projects;
  • Applying the experience gained in master's programs;
  • Presenting and sharing one's own approaches – workshops, peer-to-peer teaching, group reflection;
  • Consultation on the inspirational portfolio and its completion;
  • Public presentation of work results and professional self-reflection;

Assessment methods
Methods of assessing results:
- ongoing consultations and reflection on the student's work,
- assessment of the inspirational portfolio (main output of the course),
- assessment of attendance, activity, level of involvement in teaching, and ability to cooperate,
- monitoring the development of self-reflection and professional progress of the student.
Assessment criteria:
- quality and completeness of the inspirational portfolio,
- active participation in teaching and joint activities,
- completion of practical training (internship) according to pre-defined parameters.
Minimum requirements for successful completion of the course:
- attendance of at least 75% of classes,
- submission of a developed inspirational portfolio at the end of the semester,
- completion of at least three individual consultations,
- completion of compulsory practical training (internship).
