Course objectives
The aim of the course is a basic orientation in pedagogical categories with an emphasis on the development of pedagogical competences. The course also enables the integration of theoretical knowledge into the context of pedagogical practice, among other things, thanks to the presentation of teaching methods and practical outcomes of the course.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
  • identify basic pedagogical categories and concepts,
  • describe basic elements of the educational process,
  • take into account the context of the current and historical development of pedagogy
  • determine the importance of pedagogical disciplines for selected professional areas,
  • understand basic pedagogical documents,
  • determine the goal of education,
  • describe basic methods and forms of teaching and be able to apply them,
  • apply an individual approach to education and the development of key competencies.
