- Course objectives
- Within this semester, the aim of the course is to examine the costume and the topic of roles in the current political-social and technological contexts, which strongly influence and shape the current cultural and existential situation of man. Not only people but also non-anthropocentric beings, events, entities become heroes, the reality of the existence of the living is expanded even with the loss of ecological and ethical values. This dichotomy and other implications that students explore form new civilizational and cultural frameworks. The costume and the body are essential morphology of cultural values, which can be manipulated by society. The theme of body politics, transformations and queer worlds is explored and processed with an inclination towards new technologies, changing the possibilities of creation.
- Learning outcomes
- Students are oriented in artistic, technological, communication and organizational skills. They are able to basically formulate topics in the broad context of new contents going across disciplines. They orient themselves in the essential qualities and problems of contemporary cultural - political, social - spiritual, technological - environmental and ethical issues. They formulate their chosen topics in their own way, and communicate them in teamwork. They bring new content as well as formal or technological solutions to selected topics. They experiment on the basis of physicality, create situations in space, costumes, objects, technologically processed at the highest possible level provided by the school. They extend into liberal arts and fashion.
- Syllabus
- he time structure of the teaching is individual and the individual blocks overlap and complement: 1.-4. week: finding and formulating a topic 2nd-6th week: imagination, associative work with material, sketches, search for possibilities of expression, constant revision of topics. 1st-4th week: collection of reference material, texts, image and material database Week 5-6: ongoing written reflection/essay/diary, completion of the first interpretation phase of the project 6._8. week: revision of content, form and context, mentioned in the aim of the subject, transition to real space - socio-cultural relations of the environment.
