Course objectives

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the concept and meaning of pedagogy, its structure, the foundations of the educational process and the basic elements of a teacher's activity. The course also allows the integration of theoretical knowledge into the teaching practice, including the use of modern technologies.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, students will be able to:

understand and evaluate their pedagogical communication,

orient themselves in new approaches applied in pedagogical practice and possibilities of access to individuals with special educational needs (including exceptionally gifted individuals),

work with the topic of values in the process of upbringing and education,

characterize the importance of evaluation, classification, praise and criticism,

master intervention tools to ensure discipline,

know the learning outcomes according to valid curricular documents,

know the possibilities of applying modern technologies in music-educational practice.

Lecture, practical exercises, written assignment

Assessment methods

Credit. Completion of the course is based on the successful completion of a written assignment and attendance, or an online test.
