- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to guide students in the development of economic thinking and entrepreneurial approach, thus developing their logical thinking and complex view of management and management issues in culture. Students will get acquainted with the basic problems of microeconomics, especially with the problems of business economics on examples from the field of theater, with the basics of the economy of non-profit sector organizations and the fundamentals of typology of creative organizations.

- Knowledge:
Student has knowledge of microeconomics and business economics,
student has knowledge of economics and typology of non-profit organizations,
student has knowledge of the history and typology of creative organizations.
Eligibility:
Student is able to interpret the basic knowledge of microeconomics and business economics on examples of the field of theatre,
student can apply and connect the knowledge of microeconomics and business economics with findings from other subjects,
student understands the principle of measuring the economic impact. - Syllabus

- Teaching methods
- The subject is taught in the form of lectures using discussion methods. Students are given a seminar work during the semester.
- Assessment methods
- The course is finished by an oral exam. For a successful ending, students have to attend 80 % of the attendance and pass the seminar paper, then they can take the exam.
