- Course objectives
- Teach students to apply knowledge from current literature, cases and sources of arts management into their own (ie top-level) management practice.
Encourage students to think critically (not every method is applicable in the every case) and to discuss the ethical aspects of managing artistic institutions.
To acquaint students with the issues of international cooperation and the parameters of international entrepreneurship. - Learning outcomes
- Student will:
- be familiar with current sources of theoretic management and management of art institutions in terms of management and leadership,
- apply critical thinking for analysis and selection of appropriate methods and procedures,
- to know the issues of current international cooperation in artistic management,
- to perceive the influence of management decisions on the overall ethical context of the artistic institution and the arts sector in general. - Syllabus
