Graduation of the first year of the bachelor study programme. Ability to create a quality professional project on the chosen topic.

Course objectives
Mastering the best possible presentation of own project after boht - verbaly and from the point of view or presenting skills. (The content issue is a prerequisite).
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to present his/her project independently and on a very good level, with a view on the given issue, both in terms of articulation and the richness of synonymous expressions. Student will be able to adapt his/her appearance and nonverbal behavior to the presentation. Student is oriented in the basic protocol of social behavior, can handle the audience's attention and respond clearly and briefly to questions.
Syllabus
  • Fundamentals of Communication Skills.
  • Articulation, speech tempo, volume of verbal expression, cadence of speech.
  • Modulation capability, correct sentence intonation, questions, voice drop down.
  • Flawless articulation performance without speech defects and spelling deviations.
  • Presentation principles, contact with listeners, maintaining the attention, appropriateness and inappropriateness of the style of speech.
  • Presentation tools (powerpoint, fipchart, video etc.), principles of working with the microphone and port.
  • Nonverbal communication.
  • Social etiquette.
  • Presentation, hierarchy of social relations.
  • Dressing, basics of dining, social rules of working meetings, etc.
  • Rules of telephone call, mail correspondence.
