- The course is in line with producer focused master's degree and provides knowledge of strategic planning and management and its application with a focus on
a) strategic management of cultural institutions,
b) strategic planning of the public sector in the field of culture. - Syllabus
- Introduction to the strategic management.
Strategic thinking and leadership.
Principles of strategic management.
- Identification of needs,
- Defining the vision and mission statement,
- Analysis of the internal environment,
- Environmental analysis,
- Revision of n the vision and mission,
- Goals determination,
- Determination of variants (scenarios) and the choice of one alternative strategies (develop of total or partial strategies, offensive, defensive, residual strategy)
- Examination of the appropriateness of the strategy (navigation strategy),
