Course objectives
The fundamental thematic areas are the identification and identity of space as a relational field, the structure, ideology and mythology of space and identification, communication with space, being in it, being it. The theme of physical space and mental, psychological, mythical and political, certainly also emotional and social. Space as a politician. Domestic-alien. Space virality. Concrete x virtual space. Fiction, game, safety. Geoclimatic and political influences affect the perception and interpretation of the author. Not doing and doing - "letting go". Cultural-historical aspects/differences in the perception of classical genres based on geographical, religious and cultural inclusion. Cultural continuity. An author's project carried out in its entirety from the research of the topic, its artistic and technical processing, to the recording of the work. Questions of perception and presentation - current parameters.
Learning outcomes
An author's project carried out in its entirety from the research of the topic, its artistic and technical processing, to the recording of the work. Questions of perception and presentation - current parameters. The student is ready to find, formulate, analyze and process in a creative way, corresponding to current cultural requirements, a topic according to his nature, leads creative communication in team cooperation. Demonstrates broad and deep knowledge and critical understanding of concepts and methods in relation to the artistic processes of scenography as an interdisciplinary work not only with space, light and time. He works with the poetic values of perception, with the ways of viewing, experiencing and making the world through the theme. He is able to work with body and space politics and perceives quality and basic manipulation strategies. He masters sophisticated procedures, both craft and thought, on his own personal level. He is able to decide to experiment in the context of the interstices and cracks of perception. He is able to form a hybrid whole, studies the properties of non-binary events. It processes an original artistic scenographic performance of its own or as a team in public, including on an international forum. This process takes three semesters, ending with a master's thesis.
Syllabus
  • She/he determines the choice of topic himself and discusses it with the teacher. individual blocks overlap and complement: 1., 4. week: Formulation of the topic, analysis in the context of social values and their current changes. 2nd-8th week: imaginative, associative, experimental content, technological research of the topic and its material and other sketches, dramaturgical - scenic concept, interdisciplinary work. 1.-6. week: collection of reference material, its incorporation into the work searching for an adequate space for the implementation of the project. 9th week: physical space of action - identity, give and take, economy and ecology of processing as inspiration within reduction and other contemporary challenges both in content and form. 6th - 11th week: ongoing written reflection/work diary, revision and other phases of topic and project formulation, process analysis, material outputs, production documentation of the project/implementation of technical processing. 9-12 week: conceptual work in a social-spatial situation, communication within public implementation

  • Week 13: project finalization, installation and documentation, presentation and reflection (3 pages of text)

Classified credit based on 80% attendance, project presentation in its maximum possible form, process documentation, technical documentation, financial balance sheet, reflection - 3 pages of text
