Cílem je seznámit studenty se základními tendencemi moderního dramatu na základě analýzy konkrétních dramatických textů.
Syllabus (in Czech)
Studenti dramaturgie a režie by se v průběhu tohoto semináře měli důkladně seznámit se základními milníky moderního dramatu od pozdních děl Henrika Ibsena a Augusta Strindberga až po např. dílo Thomase Bernharda. Na základě studia dramatických děl a jejich inscenační tradice by měli být obeznámeni s dílem autorů zastupujících hlavní proudy dramatu dvacátého století (např. Pirandello, Dürrenmatt, Brecht, Beckett, Ionesco, Pinter, Handke). Předpokládá se aktivní účast v semináři, vypracování referátů a závěrečné seminární práce.
