Course objectives
The aim of the course is to prepare students for their future creation of a bachelor's thesis. In the course of individual meetings, students become familiar with the partial aspects of creating a professional text, both from a theoretical and a practical point of view. On the basis of partial exercises, students master the creation of a professional text completed by an oral presentation.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- characterize the specifics of a specialized text and use this knowledge when creating your own specialized text;
- choose a suitable topic, build the structure of a specialized text, formulate basic research questions/hypotheses, etc.;
- characterize the ethical principles of working with a specialized text and use them when creating your own text (citations and standards);
- orient yourself in the basic documents and specialized publications necessary for the creation of bachelor's and diploma theses (e.g. internal guidelines of the faculty);
- choose a suitable form of oral presentation in front of a selected group of audience.
