Course objectives
The aim of the course is to name the basic principles, methods, forms and approaches of the field of DaV based on the students' previous experience, to create a comprehensive picture of the field and its overlaps and to integrate knowledge from individual subjects into a meaningful whole. At the same time, students will name different approaches and their benefits through getting to know Czech and international personalities in the field.

Learning outcomes:


Student's professional knowledge:


- students are familiar with the basic principles, methods, forms and approaches of the field of DaV;


- students are familiar with the individual border and overlapping areas of DaV;


- students are able to actively search for and name current topics in the field of DaV and take their position on them;


- students demonstrate knowledge of professional literature and individual personalities in the field of DaV. 




Student's professional skills:


- students are able to use professional literature to investigate current topics in the field of DaV;


- students are familiar with the basic principles and various border fields of the field of DaV, can name their basic principles and the differences between them;


- students are able to use knowledge of other subjects to investigate a given topic.




Student's general competences:


- students are able to use knowledge of professional literature to search for overlaps in the field of DaV;


- the student knows important Czech and world figures in the field and can name their contributions;


- the student is able to apply the acquired knowledge for their personal growth and development in the field of work and personal life;


- the student is able to apply knowledge from the didactics of theatre and education.
