Course objectives
Within the workshop, students become familiar with various areas of the studied specialization, according to current needs. The workshop is always led by an external expert from the professional sphere of the given field, who deepens knowledge, abilities and skills in the given artistic and pedagogical area. The benefit lies in connecting theoretical knowledge acquired during studies with the practical experience of professional artists and teachers from practice. The goal of the creative workshop is to expand the usual regular teaching by meeting with an expert, a specialist in a certain field of the field in the form of an intensive workshop. The specific goals of the workshop are specified based on the specific focus of the workshop and its lecturer.
Learning outcomes
After graduation, the student will be able to:
- critically evaluate their own work and creation in the workshop in relation to the creation of other classmates
- apply the acquired professional knowledge from the workshop to their own practice in the field of theater and education
- orient themselves in a given area of artistic and pedagogical activity according to the focus of the workshop;
- critically look at the given issue.
Syllabus
The content of the creative workshop is a practical introduction to a specialized area of the field, whether in its basics (e.g. lighting design, multimedia creation, music creation), or in advanced difficulty (e.g. theater creation with a practicing artist from the field). Individual areas or topics of the workshop are determined according to the current needs of the given specialization and after consultation with an external workshop lecturer.
