Course objectives
The aim is to provide students with sufficient professional background for elaborating the topics of bachelor theses, both professional disciplinary background and the basis for writing a professional text. During the course, learners are introduced to the specifics of the professional text, its structuring, formal requirements, etc. The course also includes finding appropriate methodological tools concerning the individual thematic focus of the prepared bachelor thesis.
Learning outcomes
Learners:
- knows the professional terminology in the field of theatre and education and can apply it when working with professional texts;
- can choose appropriate methodological tools for researching the chosen issue;
- knows selected citation standards to apply when writing a professional text;
- can construct a professional text (establish hypotheses/research questions, methodological procedures, interpret professional sources, draw conclusions, etc.).
