- Course objectives
The aim of the subject Organization of the Sítko Festival is to create a capable organizational group that - informed about the history of Sítko, its meaning and significance, including the importance of individual organizational areas - can organize the Sítko Theatre and Education Studio festival under the guidance of a teacher. Another, no less important aim is to develop the ability to process knowledge, reflective thoughts and evaluation into festival/project documentation.- Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to: - understand the history of the Sítko festival; - formulate the stages of festival organization; - formulate the areas that need to be considered during the organization of the festival; - implement their own small-format theater festival.- Syllabus
possibilities of forms and target groups of theatre festivals getting acquainted with the Sítko studio festival (history, meaning, significance, possibilities, pitfalls of future years) theatre festival as a project formulating the theme of the upcoming year fulfilling the requirements of individual sections of the festival organization in smaller organizational groups overall preparation of the festival processing of festival documentation (audio-visual recordings and written reflection of one's own work in the group during the organization and implementation of the festival)- Literature
