Studie je komparací vzpomínek jeho žáků a pohledem na jejich tvorbu. Autorka dochází k závěru, že Janáček ovlivnil zejména skladatelskou generaci nastupující až v 60. letech 20. století, jejíž příslušníci vytvořili a užívali kompoziční techniku montáže,vycházející z Janáčkových principů.

The opinions of Janáček pupils often differ from each other. Besides his own pupils, Janáček has many heirs. Even the 1960s generation could understand Janáček's style and could follow his compositional thinking by adopting the montage technique.
