Referát se týká opery Kamilla českého skladatele Ludvíka Čelanského a jejího vztahu se známější operou Osud Leoše Janáčka. Cílem je představit osobnost Ludvíka Čelanského, která je v dnešní době již poměrně málo známá, prezentovat okolnosti vzniku opery Kamilla, zasadit ji do kontextu české opery druhé poloviny 19. století a v závěru ji porovnat s její mladším a známějším zpracováním.

The paper concerns the opera Kamilla by the Czech composer Ludvík Čelanský and its relationship with the better-known opera Osud by Leoš Janáček. The aim is to introduce the personality of Ludvík Čelanský, who is relatively little known today, to present the circumstances surrounding the creation of the opera Kamilla, to place it in the context of Czech opera in the second half of the 19th century and, finally, to compare it with its younger and more well-known adaptation.
