Lubomír Černík, zakladatel a vůdčí osobnost Satirického divadla Večerní Brno, patřil ve své době k největším brněnským hereckým talentům, ale jeho aktivity se zdaleka nezaměřovaly pouze na herectví: byl zejména slavným kabaretiérem a konferenciérem, dále autorem divadelních, písňových, básnických, publicistických textů i anekdot, překladatelem, divadelním a televizním dramaturgem, rozhlasovým moderátorem, fi lmovým hercem či spisovatelem. Doboví recenzenti jej často přirovnávali k jeho celoživotnímu vzoru Janu Werichovi. Co se stalo s touto někdejší megastar a jaké byly její další osudy? Příspěvek seznámí posluchače s právě probíhajícím výzkumem, jehož výsledkem bude odborná monografi e, a zároveň upozorní na určité limity i témata, která se zde momentálně rýsují.

Lubomír Černík, the founder and leading figure of the Satirical Theatre Večerní Brno, was one of the greatest acting talents in Brno in his time, but his activities were far from focused only on acting: he was primarily a famous cabaret artist and entertainer, an author of theatre texts, songs, poetry, journalistic texts and anecdotes, a translator, theatre and television dramaturge, radio presenter, film actor and writer. Contemporary reviewers often compared him to his lifelong paragon Jan Werich. What happened to this former megastar and what was her subsequent fate? The article will introduce the audience to the ongoing research, the result of which will be a professional monograph, and at the same time draw attention to certain limits and topics that are currently emerging here.
