Příspěvek byl prezentován v rámci setkání Laboratoř uměleckého výzkumu, které se uskutečnilo 27. května 2025 v Domě umění města Brna jako platforma pro sdílení výzkumných projektů doktorandek a doktorandů Divadelní fakulty JAMU. Prezentace představila rozpracovaný projekt zaměřený na využití expanded dokumentárního filmu k zachycení procesu vzniku tapisérií v prostředí gobelínové manufaktury. Autor se soustředí zejména na materialitu textilního umění a na roli lidské práce, gest a rukou při tvorbě tapisérií. Příspěvek otevřel otázky vztahu mezi řemeslnou praxí, obrazem a filmovým záznamem jako nástrojem uměleckého výzkumu. V rámci diskuse byl projekt reflektován jako příklad propojení dokumentárního filmu, vizuálního umění a výzkumné reflexe umělecké praxe.

The paper was presented within the Laboratory of Artistic Research, held on 27 May 2025 at the House of Arts of the City of Brno as a platform for sharing doctoral research projects at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU. The presentation introduced a work-in-progress project exploring the use of expanded documentary film to capture the process of creating tapestries in the environment of a tapestry manufactory. The author focuses particularly on the materiality of textile art and the role of human labour, gestures, and hands in the production of tapestries. The contribution opened questions concerning the relationship between craft practice, image, and film documentation as a tool of artistic research. Within the discussion, the project was reflected as an example of the intersection of documentary film, visual art, and research-based reflection on artistic practice.
