Ve dnech 18.–19. října 2025 se v Hotelu Galant v Mikulově uskutečnilo dvoudenní Doktorské sympozium Divadelní fakulty Janáčkovy akademie múzických umění v Brně. Setkání bylo zaměřeno na prezentaci a reflexi výzkumných projektů doktorandek a doktorandů v oblasti uměleckého výzkumu. Program zahrnoval prezentace nastupujících studentů doktorského studia, představení průběžných i završovaných výzkumných projektů a tematický diskusní panel věnovaný vztahu mezi uměleckou praxí a výzkumnou reflexí. Diskuse se soustředila na metodologické otázky uměleckého výzkumu a na možnosti dialogu mezi uměnovědnými a practice-based přístupy. Sympozium zároveň poskytlo prostor pro sdílení zkušeností, kolegiální diskusi a rozvoj odborné komunity doktorského studia na DF JAMU. Hosté: Veronika Klusáková (prorektorka pro VaV FAMU Praha), Jennifer Helia de Felice (vedoucí Centra audiovizuálních studií FAMU Praha), Helena Maňasová Hradská (ředitelka Kabinetu teoretických studií FMK UTB Zlín), Jozef Kovalčík (prorektor pro uměleckou činnost VŠMU Bratislava).

On 18–19 October 2025, a two-day Doctoral Symposium of the Theatre Faculty of the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts (JAMU) took place at Hotel Galant in Mikulov. The meeting focused on the presentation and reflection of research projects conducted by PhD candidates in the field of artistic research. The programme included presentations by newly enrolled doctoral students, reports on ongoing and concluding doctoral research projects, and a thematic discussion panel addressing the relationship between artistic practice and research reflection. The discussions focused on methodological questions of artistic research and on the possibilities of dialogue between art-historical and practice-based approaches. The symposium also provided space for sharing experiences, collegial discussion, and strengthening the academic community of doctoral studies at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU.
