Movement and Dance in Orff Schulwerk is devoted to an aspect of the Schulwerk that has been integrated from the beginning but has to date received little written documentation relative to the extensive music resources that are available in multiple languages. Part 1 includes historical and theoretical background. Part 2 describes various content areas in which movement and dance are approached in the Schulwerk Part 3 illustrates movement and dance with many different target groups. Fifty-six authors from many different countries and cultures have collaborated on articles that broaden our knowledge about how movement and dance can be integrated with music and speech guided by the artistic-pedagogical concept developed by Carl Orff, Dorothee Günther and Gunild Keetman.

Pohyb a tanec v Orffově Schulwerku se věnuje aspektu Schulwerku, který byl integrován od samého počátku, ale dosud se mu dostalo jen málo písemné dokumentace vzhledem k rozsáhlým hudebním zdrojům dostupným v mnoha jazycích. Část 1 zahrnuje historické a teoretické pozadí. Část 2 popisuje různé obsahové oblasti, v nichž je pohyb a tanec v Schulwerku chápán. Část 3 ilustruje pohyb a tanec s mnoha různými cílovými skupinami. Na článcích, které rozšiřují naše znalosti o tom, jak lze pohyb a tanec integrovat s hudbou a řečí, a to v duchu umělecko-pedagogického konceptu, který vyvinuli Carl Orff, Dorothee Günther a Gunild Keetman.
