Přednáška se zabývá rozhlasovými hrami Jiřího Kratochvila (nar. 1940), významného současného českého spisovatele, jehož život i tvorba jsou spjaty s Brnem. Téma pojednává v souvislosti s další rozhlasovou tvorbou autora a s jeho prózou. Zvláštní pozornost věnuje brněnským motivům a postmoderním prvkům v Kratochvilových rozhlasových hrách. Součástí přednášky jsou audio ukázky z pojednávaných děl.

The lecture deals with radio plays by Jiří Kratochvil (born 1940), an important contemporary Czech author whose life and work are bound to Brno. The topic is put into the context of Kratochvil’s other radio work and his prose. It focuses on the Brno motives and postmodern elements in Kratochvil’s radio plays. Audio excerpts related to the topic are part of the lecture.
