Po rozpadu velkých varhanářských paradigmat 19. a 20. století se současný stav na poli stavby varhan jeví jako bohaté spektrum celé řady uměleckých a konstrukčních přístupů, které však zároveň představují výzkumný problém při pokusu o vymezení jejich základního paradigmatického rámce. Předkládaná monografie se snaží tuto problematiku nahlédnout formou sondy do soudobé varhanářské produkce firem ve střední Evropě, vedené snahou o definování klíčových specifik a preferencí v oblasti zvukového a uměleckého pojetí současných nástrojů, konstrukčních řešení, ale také trendů na poli varhanářského trhu.

After the collapse of the great organ paradigms of the 19th and 20th centuries, the current state of organ building appears to be a rich spectrum of a whole range of artistic and constructional approaches, which, however, also represent a research problem in an attempt to define their basic paradigmatic framework. The presented monograph attempts to look into this issue in the form of a probe into contemporary organ production by companies in Central Europe, guided by an effort to define key specificities and preferences in the field of sound and artistic conception of contemporary instruments, construction solutions, but also trends in the field of the organ market.
