Jedním z hlavních témat Mezinárodního festivalu animovaných filmů Anifilm 2024 je voděná loutka v animaci. K té příležitosti připravil kurátorský tým ve složení David Kubec, Malvína Balvínová, Pavel Horáček a Pavel Jirásek výstavu Za hranice animace, která vůbec poprvé mapuje českou voděnou loutku ve filmu a televizi. Severočeské muzeum v Liberci nabízí na tento fenomén nahlédnout skrze krátký a celovečerním film i televizní seriály a pořady. Výstava do vzájemného dialogu staví jak dobře známé loutkové charaktery, tak i raritní kusy z méně známých filmových děl.
In English
One of the main themes of the Anifilm 2024 International Animated Film Festival is the puppet in animation. For this occasion, the curatorial team consisting of David Kubec, Malvína Balvínová, Pavel Horáček and Pavel Jirásek prepared the exhibition Beyond the Borders of Animation, which for the first time maps the Czech water puppet in film and television. The North Bohemian Museum in Liberec offers an insight into this phenomenon through short and feature films as well as television series and programs. The exhibition puts both well-known puppet characters and rare pieces from lesser-known film works into a mutual dialogue.
