Kapitola V Brně poprvé, ale ne naposled – Marián Amsler, SKUTR a Štěpán Pácl na festivalu Setkání/Encounter se zabývá čtveřicí režisérů, kteří patří mezi současné výrazné osobnosti českého a slovenského divadla. V centru zájmu stojí rozbor jejich absolventských inscenací, které se shodně představili právě na festivalu Divadelní fakulty JAMU a vyvolali značnou pozornost a odbornou polemiku.

A study in the publication Tastes of Encounter which reflects the phenomenon of the international festival of theatre schools Setkání/Encounter and reveals diverse layers of its thirty-year existence. The chapter First Time in Brno, but Not the Least - Marián Amsler, SKUTR and Štěpán Pácl at the Setkání/Encounter Festival follows up four theatre directors who rank among the current distinct figures of Czech and Slovak theatre. The focus is on their graduate performances which were presented at the festival of the Theatre Faculty JAMU and provoked considerable attention and professional controversy.
