Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the fundraising content, ie obtaining funds for the activities of non-profit organizations, with an emphasis on non-profit organizations operating in culture. Attention is paid to grant and non-grant fundraising. In addition to theory, a practical project is solved.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- define both grant and non-grant fundrasing;
- describe its individual methods;
- understand the situation of donation in the context of the Czech Republic and other non-profit organizations;
- Prepare crowdfunding collection, rep. campaign;
- propose a fundraising plan for your cultural project;
- Prepare a sponsorship offer. - to write a grant request.

  • Opening information hour;
  • Definition of fundraising and its place in the life of NGOs; The situation of donation in the Czech Republic (or examples from abroad); Philanthropy, altruism, CSR, culture and art;
  • Methods of fundraising I. - for and against;
  • Funding Methods II. - for and against;
  • Fundraising audit and plan;
  • Corporate fundraising - sponsorship / advertising offer;
  • Grant Fundrasing - Grants and Subsidies; Individual fundraising (collections, events, CRWDF);
  • Major Donors Campaing / Fundraising; Lead Generation + Loyalty Programs;
  • Donors Stevardship (Donor Database);
  • Classified credit.
