Course objectives
Internship with an emphasis on working in a team with a director, dramaturg, actors, lighting designer, audiovisual and music component. Complex scenographic solution and costume concept, its visual execution with subsequent implementation in the classrooms or theater stages of the JAMU Faculty of Theater and Music. The possibility of practical use of the experience of previous studies
Learning outcomes
The student is able to: to understand the meaning and essence of scenography in a theater production analyze the starting points in the solution of theatrical and other scenography develop the ability to formulate own scenographic solutions master the basic expressive means of scenographic creation and use it to solve dramatic situations connection of all components of a synthetic work and be prepared for maximum creative communication, cooperation and continuity on the basis of scenographic designs, leading their realization in workshops or realizing them by author demonstrate a broad and deep knowledge and critical understanding of concepts and methods in relation to the artistic processes of scenography to be aware of the importance of the context of scenography and the possibility of creative overlap into other or newly emerging fields to present an original artistic scenographic performance of one's own or as a team in public, including on an international forum
Syllabus
  • Practice with an emphasis on working in a team with the director, actors, lighting designer. Complex scenographic solution and costume concept with subsequent implementation on the theater stages of the JAMU Faculty of Theater and Music. Possibility of practical use of experience gained from the subject of scenography, costume and academic project.
