- Course objectives
- The winter semester of the first year of the Master degree program is designed for:
a) an internship in a theater or artistic institution.
The internship can be negotiated through the Department of External Relations of DF JAMU (this phase precedes and is concurrent with the process of enrollment for study and admissions) or on the basis of their own contacts, possibly with the help of the Theatre production department.
Whether the student chooses any way to negotiate an internship, it is necessary to inform the teacher of the subject prior to the official communication with the selected host entity about the selection of the theater / art institution.
Theatre Production Department will provide the student with all the assistance they need to get an internship (recommendation, etc.). In some cases, the host institution requires a contract with Theatre Faculty JAMU. Ensuring the conclusion of the contract is the responsibility of the student in cooperation with the subject of the course and the department of external or foreign affairs of DF JAMU. In any case, the Theatre Production Department requires confirmation of the traineeship.
b) study / practice abroad. The internship had to be negotiated well in advance: foreign stays are negotiated in advance via the Foreign Department of Theatre Faculty JAMU. In this case, the Erasmus exchanges provides students with a scholarship to cover a part of the costs. If a student endeavors to find an internship abroad outside the Erasmus program, it is very likely that the costs associated with this stay will be borne by the student and the faculty will not be able to contribute to them.
Important note: for a study stay within Erasmus programme, Foreign Department of DF JAMU and Theatre Production Department are required to complete an individual study plan that will include a curriculum at the host university. This study course "Internship" has a value of 19 credits (ie also the anticipated number of ECTS hours).
However, it is possible that the study stay at the host institution will be challenging or otherwise evaluated. On the basis of a foreign study plan, we determine which subjects achieve the frameworks of 19 credits within this course and which subjects we propose to recognize as optional subjects. At the same time we will be able to asses the quality of the study plan of the host school.
After completing study exchange student will receive the trascript of records (assesment received from the host university). These results will be accounted for by the students and the Theatre Production Dept. will try to maximize the recognition of the subjects both within the first and within the second year of study. Nevertheless, the completion of seminar assignments in the follow-up subject Seminar to internship / practice is a prerequisite for the complete completion of the internship (see the terms of the Seminar for Internship / Practice). - Learning outcomes
- Learning outcomes are based on the two variants of possible placement:

- Such agreed content is modified by contract (in the case of Erasmus exchange by Application Form and Transcript of Records), in the case of another type of internship for example, in the form of a Cooperation Agreement.
- The teacher of this course t has accurate information about the content of the placement and knows the contact persons of the host institutions.
- Teaching methods
- Form of teaching: study exchange or work internship The teaching methods depend on the type of host institution, so it can be generally defined as: a) educational teaching methods, b) practical working methods, ie. learning in the form of real life situations. The course Seminar for internship, study, practice is used to monitor the course of individual students' internships.
- Assessment methods
- Graded credit Evaluation of study exchange or practical internship is done by the host institution according to the rules agreed in the agreement.
