Prerequisites
The organization of the courses International Theatre Festival Management I, International Theatre Festival Management II and the International Theatre Festival I and II, as well as other producing project brought within subjects Individual Production Project, production meetings included - modular training.

Course objectives
The aim is to enable the student to implement a complex production project through work experience in order to demonstrate the knowledge for preparatory, implementation and post-production organizational activities at the project management level, in this case the large international festival.
The aim is therefore the application of knowledge and skills gained from the courses of bachelor study programme of theatre production specialization (management and leadership, project management, marketing, fundraising, economics, psychology, sociology, law, etc.) during the planning, implementation and evaluation of the large scale artistic project, in this case of the International Festival of Theatre Schools SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER through supervised practice. of theater management through work experience. Students are participating on a large scale project (festival SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER) and they are guided to apply theoretical skills gained within their bachelor studies under supervision.
Student can choose Project I as a graduation project (with a choice of Project I and Project II).
Learning outcomes
After graduation of the subject student acquires wide practical skills concerning the organization of the festival, practical legal knowledge related to theatre/event management.
Student is able to work in a team in a leading position and take responsibility for his/her own tasks as well as for the entire organizational team and perceives links between individual activities within the broader organizational structure.
Student is able to:
- Together with the organizing team to define tasks related to the artistic project, schedule them in time and divide them among individual team members,
- Work systematically with your time, define your own tasks and activities,
- to perform the assigned tasks with respect to the deadlines and the needs of other team members,
- Communicate with the team, discuss proposed solutions and reach common consensus.
The student is able to reflect own practical activities and is ready for processing the documentation of the Graduation Project.
Syllabus
  • Practical implementation of strategic and project management, financial management, legal issues, staffing of the international theater festival and international cultural events specifically with this syllabus:
    - project planning and strategic planning of the international theater festival
    - Financial management of the project: budgeting, fundraising, accounting and income as a basis for budgeting,
    - festival marketing and public relations, networking,
    - legal issues of the international theater festival,
    l - staffing of the international theater festival - the organizational structure,
    - management of communication and information flows, management of the team.
    Student is involved in the organization of the International Festival of Theatre Schools SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER at the highest management level including continuous peer review and self-evaluation in the seminar.
    Student brings creative ideas for the work of his/her team work as well as for the whole concept of the festival. Is able to evaluate own work as well as the work of the team members from the procedural and personal point of view.

    The result is a practical realization of the project, ie. implemented year of the festival, for which students organizational team reports to the Festival Board of Theatre Faculty JAMU.

Discussions, heuristic methods, individual and team work of students, presentations, guided practice.
Assessment methods
Graded credit on the basis of:
- practical activities in order to fulfill the project plan of the respective year of the festival,
- on the basis of regular personnel and process evaluation of festival organizing team members, evaluation is organized by student coordinator of the festival together with the teachers,
- Based on Feedback from the SETKÁNÍ / ENCOUNTER Festival Board.
