- Course objectives
- The aim is to present the development of clothing from antiquity to the end of the 16th century, in the broader context of sociological, historical and cultural. Students will be able to distinguish the clothing styles of each epoch, to understand the relation of fashion and other areas of life, they will understand the used materials, textile and clothing cuts ties .

- Introduction.
- Clothing ancient cultures (Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece and Rome).
- Clothing Migration Period and the Early Middle Ages.
- Byzantium and the High and Late Middle Ages.
- Chinese and Japanese clothing.
- Clothing Renaissance Italy.
- Spanish fashion of the 16th century.
