Prerequisites
The student successfully completed his second year of bachelor study programme. Within the framework of the production seminar (2nd year or bachelor study programme) for the subject of the Individual Production Project, production meetings included (Theater Production Specialization) or Individual Technical Project, production meetings included (Stage Management and Technology Specialization), student planned his/her involvement in the relevant projects. From those project student chooses one for a Graduation Project to elaborate comprehensive documentation.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with a methodological support for the elaboration of project documentation of Graduation Project. I.e. to guide the student to apply the relevant knowledge gained by the study not only in the domain of practical implementation (for this serves other course units that are listed below in the section related subjects), but also in the project documentation. The aim is to enable the student (often retrospectively) to evaluate whether he/she has actually used the gained tools (not only of project management but also of other courses) in practical implementation, how it was used or could be used, and include this evaluation in his/her own written project documentation. The aim is also to prepare the student for a successful defense at the state final examination.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to present their own practical activities, the joint work of the artistic team and the relating stakeholders in three phases:
(a) a written project plan including a detailed plan elaborated according analysis,
(b) an interim implementation report,
(c) a general report on the progress of the project implementation and the comprehensive dossier.
The student will be ready to defend his graduation project at the final state examination.
At the same time, through the presentations and comments of the teachers, the student will be able to:
- choose the relevant methods and procedures suitable for the chosen practical graduation project (artistic project),
- retrospectively analyze the feasibility of the selected tools, and to include this evaluation part into the written documentation.

SKILLS
Students can:
- Apply knowledge and skills acquired during bachelor degree in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of graduation bachelor project,
- Apply the processing of the project plan, progress reports and project documentation graduation bachelor project relevant analysis techniques and tools of project management, teamwork and creative processes,
- To present and discuss their proposals and approaches graduation project with teachers and other students of the course, reflect on their own performance on a graduation project, including the evaluation of its activities within a production / organizational project team
- Analyze and evaluate project plans, progress reports and project documentation graduation projects of their classmates.
ELIGIBILITY
Student is able to:
- Contextualize the theory and practice of his profession - a theatre production or stage management and technologies,
- Choose the processing of the project plan, progress reports and project documentation graduation bachelor project relevant analysis techniques and tools of project management, teamwork and creative processes,
- Critically and independently study key and complementary materials and sources recommended by the teacher.
Syllabus
  • The contents of the course are:
    - Coaching processing project plans graduation projects, implementation and evaluation.
    - Guided discussion related to the outputs presented by students (project plan in the winter semester, interim report and final documentation of graduation project in the summer semester).
    - Mentoring focused on formal and content requirements of project plans and documentation of graduation projects.

    Students and teachers work with methodological materials created for this purpose, with documents:
    Characteristics of the graduation project and the requirements of the written project documentation (elaborated separately for each program specialization)
    Guide for performances realized in the internal environment of DF JAMU (elaborated separately for each program specialization)

WINTER SEMESTER
Students in the winter semester:
- Prepares and presents its own project plan bachelor graduation project, which then reflects and discusses with teachers and other students,
- Handles Examiner report assigned project plan graduation project his classmate
- Prepares and moderates a discussion on the selected project plan bachelor graduation project of his classmate.
- Prepares and hands in an interim report of his/her bachelor graduation projects.

SUMMER SEMESTER
Student in the summer semester:
- Prepares and presents its own project documentation bachelor graduation project has subsequently reflects a discussion with teachers and other students,
- Handles Examiner report attributed the graduate design documentation project his classmate
- Prepares and moderates a discussion on the selected project documentation bachelor graduation project of his classmate.

Assessment methods
WINTER SEMESTER
Winter semester ends graded credit, the granting of which is subject to 80% active participation in lessons, processing and presentation of the project plan bachelor graduation project and oponentského report stated intention, moderating presentations assigned intention, observing deadlines and formats elaborated works.

The percentage weight rating:
- Participation in classes and active participation in discussions with substantive comments = 15%
- Compliance with the terms and conditions of submission of the project plan and oponentského report = 10%;
- Content and formal treatment plan graduation project, incl. presentation = 40%;
- Content and form processing oponentského opinion allocated intent = 20%,
- Management and moderating presentations appointed project plan = 15%.

SUMMER SEMESTER
Classified credit, the granting of which is subject to 80% active participation in lessons, processing and presentation of project documentation bachelor graduation project and oponentského report for documentation, moderating presentations attributed documentation, observing deadlines and formats elaborated works.
