- Course objectives
- The aim of the project, the workshop, is to introduce the audience to the basics of the use of sound in theatre and related audiovisual projects, both on a professional, theoretical level and on a practical, authorial level.
- Learning outcomes
- Professional knowledge:
They are prepared to use the acquired knowledge in an original way, to develop it, to apply the practices of creative thinking and emotional engagement for the benefit of the artistic form and demonstrate a clear level of artistic, professional and personal level of maturity.
Skills: When solving practical problems of the subject of interest, they use the acquired knowledge, basic procedures and methods of the field in a way that brings inspiring stimuli, use creative problem solving, seek original artistically and ethically responsible solutions.
Eligibility: Exhibit a degree of maturity and professionalism in artistic creation and professional reflection appropriate to the level of knowledge. - Syllabus
- Basic technical concepts and theories.
- Sound sources - capture, sound recording, on-line and off-line processing, sound reinforcement - presentation, distribution.
- Creating a sound script.
- Sound tracks, sound atmospheres, timing - sound story.
- Developing creative skills - using sound technology chains to create art.
- The specifics of sound capture and the possibilities of available technology chains.
- Technological possibilities of sound processing in relation to audiovisual artistic performance.
- Sound component as an integrated part of live production of dramatic artwork.
