Course objectives
Improvements to work with music software, an overview of both commercial and non solutions in the field of computer notation, DAW software and their interconnections.
Syllabus
  • The subject focuses on improving work with music software, an overview of commercial and non-commercial solutions in computer notation, DAW software and their interconnections. Notation music notation and rules. Principles and rules of good Notation.
    Notation Software: Sibelius
    Create a project, notation, linking with   MIDI instruments, obtaining parte and demo recordings.
    Alternative non-commercial software - demonstration of the possibilities and limitations.
    DAW: Overview of available software for different work processes - linking MIDI, notation and audio - possibilities and limitations.
    Transcription of audio recordings, format conversion.
