Course objectives
The aim of the course Liturgy II - winter semester, is to acquaint students with the basic concepts of the celebration of the sacramental liturgy, with the forms of the celebration of baptism, confirmation and the Eucharist. Based on the knowledge of the course of these celebrations, the student will be able to accompany them musically and choose a suitable musical and singing repertoire for these liturgical forms.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will have a very good knowledge of the Christian liturgy, know the course of the liturgy of baptism, confirmation and liturgy. He will be able to determine and select the appropriate musical accompaniment and folk spiritual song for these celebrations.
Syllabus
The concept of sacrament; sacrament and sacrament, mystery; the sacrament of baptism; history of baptism; Christian initiation and catechumenate; confirmation - confirmation; Mass and its course; the development of mass celebration in the Roman tradition; musical accompaniment of baptism, confirmation and mass; mass songs; mass ordinarium and proprium; figural mass.
