Course objectives
to create an ensemble from JAMU students focused on searching for new sounds, interpretative and notation (graphical scores, instructions) options
development of extended techniques for individual instruments
linking composition and improvisation
Learning outcomes
orientation in contemporary notation systems and scores
using extended techniques
the ability to improvise as instructed

  • Anthony Braxton's music system - the notation and training of several Ghost Trance Music for recording and concert
  • contemporary compositions of authors dealing with this issue (Roland Dahinden, Didrik Ingvaldsen, Michal Wroblewski, Radim Hanousek, ...)
