- Course objectives
- Objectives: To provide students with a range zvukotechiky Descriptors: Students are equipped with the knowledge to enable them to provide for recording audio tracks, cutting sound, prepare audio tracks for production, work on sound production and sound engineering for a performance.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- select appropriate technical equipment for individual events (recording,
- design a recording procedure and system,
- to use the acquired knowledge in practice (recording music or sounds and movements for projects and productions),
- be familiar with professional thermoinology and jargon,
- be familiar with microphone typology and how to use them. - Syllabus
- - Sound as a physical phenomenon (formation of sound, its properties and distribution, volume levels)
- The conversion of acoustic energy into electrical (electroacoustic transducers, principles of transformation)
- Microphones (frequency and spatial characteristics, properties and their use)
- Fundamentals of Acoustics (building and room acoustics, damping materials, resonator)
- Sounding (string sound, input, types of wiring, connectors, cabling)
- Type of device (method, uses)
- Schemes of acoustic strings and their potential modulation (standard level)
- Principles of capturing sound (voice, musical instruments, sound effects and atmospheric environment)
- Systems and methods for recording and sound reinforcement environments (theater, film, live, studio)
