- Course objectives
- The aim of the project, the workshop is to introduce the audience to the basics of stage and television lighting, both in the professional, theoretical and practical level. In the course of the workshop, the listeners are also introduced to the problems of the tectonics of scenic space, the role of light in theatrical and television productions as a supporting element of the composition.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- distinguish and describe individual light sources and luminaires;
- to light a variety of spaces for theatre and television productions;
- create a lighting script for a production;
- understand the terminology of television, photo and theatrical lighting; - Syllabus

- Teaching methods
- Lectures take place on a regular basis in the form of presentations and practical exercises, where students immediately verify the theory in practice.
- Assessment methods
- Credit is awarded on the basis of attendance (at least 80% attendance), completion of partial tasks during the semester assigned by the teacher and submission of a seminar thesis on the assigned topic.
