Student graduated in the bachelor degree of Theatre Production and Stage Technology or in equal type of studies and Financial Management in Accounting in master degree programme.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with practical experience in multi-ensemble theaters - regular operation, economy, human resources, planning and marketing. The specifics of the various activities in multi-ensemble theaters. Students will be further acquainted with the area of taxation artistic activities where this passage is not just about multi-ensemble theater, but basically any activities in the management of culture.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course student will:
- be able to identify and compare the legal forms of multi-ensebmle theaters,
- be able to orientate in the field of taxation and taxation of foreign artists and Czech artists,
- be able to describe and orientate in the economic processes and outputs of multi-ensemble theater,
- be able to apply and link knowledge from microeconomics and business economics with the economy of multi-ensemble theater,
- be able to apply the knowledge of the legal norms, in particular the Income Tax Act, the VAT Act, and others in practice,
- understand the functioning of multi-ensemble theaters,
- be able to apply the principles of project management in the practice of multi-ensemble theaters.

  • 1. Legal forms of multi-ensemble theaters, their comparison
  • 2. The functioning of multi-ensemble theaters, compared to single-ensemble theaters, national and international association of theater
  • 3. The legal framework for the functioning of the multi-ensemble theater - selected laws, guidelines of the founder, internal legal norms that affect the running and operation of multi-ensemble theaters
  • 4. Economic management and investment of multi-ensemble theaters, public procurement, economic reports, budgets, departmental and custom farming
  • 5. VAT in a multi-ensemble theatre
  • 6. Human Resources in a multi-ensemble theatre
  • 7. Marketing of a multi-ensemble theatre
  • 8. Planning in a multi-ensemble theatre
  • 9. Project management in a multi-ensemble theatre
  • 10. Income Taxes for Czech and foreign artists
