- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to develop clear and efficient communication between members of a creative team of a theater performance throughout the creative process. Students of direction, dramaturgy, set design and light design meet on regular basis at seminars and work together on a previously defined text. They proceed in several steps, from analysis to the realization, under the leadership of teachers from all concerned fields.
- Syllabus
- 1) Presentation of the text. Introduction to the socio-cultural context of the text. Introduction to team work in theater. 2) Text analysis and its techniques. Collective analysis of the specific text. 3) Creative and technical communication. How to communicate an idea to the rest of the creative team? How to communicate with technical crews? 4) Realization. Set rehearsals, light rehearsals.
