Jazzový tanec je jedním z důležitých odborných předmětů výuky tance v ateliéru muzikálu. Jeho cílem je zvyšovat technickou taneční dokonalost posluchače, rozvíjet přesvědčivost tanečního výrazu a spoluvytvářet jeho uměleckou osobnost.
