- Course objectives
- The aim is to test practically the preparation and planning phase implemented in the framework of seminars Organization of International Theater Festival Management II.
Test students' competence acquired in theoretical courses in managerial team practice under the supervision of teachers and their ability to solve technical-technology issues of the festival. - Learning outcomes
- After graduation of the subject student acquires basic practical knowledge concerning:
- Involvement in the organizational structure of the middle management level, responsibilities and powers of the specific organizational structure according to the project,
- Long-term planning of the activities, evaluation and feedback,
- Team management, collaboration, interdisciplinary communication (connection to the field of stage technology, dramaturgy, directing, acting, etc..), documentation and presentation,
- Ability to find technical-technological solutions to partial problems within the framework of the whole,
- Assessment of teams, self-assessment, evaluation by coordinator. - Syllabus
- Students practically implement planned activities as members of festival organizational team within the preparatory week, festival week and postproduction week. They are engaged at the intermediate organizational level of the festival team and their responsibilities and powers are implemented on a project implementing relevant festival. Performance of practical activities ranges from operative problem solving, evaluation and feedback, teamwork and collaboration to interdisciplinary communication.
