- Course objectives
- The student's ability to perceive music as a single harmonious whole, not just their vocal line with music accompaniment. Advanced knowledge of music theory with an emphasis on usability and usefulness in student’s respected field. Perfect knowledge of chords, harmonic functions of them in a given key and ability of intuitive completion of chord cadence according to the logic of harmonious process. Advanced ability to sing from music score, without prior knowledge of the melody. Intonation random intervals with maximum precision. Additionally the ability to tune not only the intonation,but also voice timbre, dynamics and technique of singing into any polyphony.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to:
-sing a melody from music score without hearing it first
-understand the harmonic changes of the musical accompaniment and use them to refine the intonation
-Intuitive completion of harmonious process - Syllabus
- Interpretation: rhythm and intonation exercises, intonation in polyphony.
- Staff writing of rhythm and melody.
- Basic creation: completion of chord cadence, creating your own chord cadence to any tune.

- Lectures combined with technical exercises and practical applications.

- Rating stems mainly from the attendance and activities in lessons. Every semester is ended with a combination of oral exam and written test.
