No need of any previous experience. However is need to purchase own tap shoes.

Course objectives
1) To know the history and popular names of tap dance
2) To learn basic steps and their titles
3) To know time steps
4) Shim sham - tap dance athemn
5) Rhythm exercises, acapella tap dancing and canons
6) Basics of improvization
7) Tap dance choreography
Learning outcomes
Student after completion of this subject will be able:
- to perform and improvize to any kind of music with self - confidence
- to amplify existing dance and music education from another view
- to learn any kind of tap choreography, which can be really helpful during castings etc.
