- Course objectives
- To choose games according to an educational intent, motion content and on the basis of the level of difficulty considering children’s age and their motoric abilities. To find an appropriate topic, verbal accompaniment, or as the case may be a rhyme, alternatively a music accompaniment may be used. Descriptors: they master a character and possibilities of various movements and they know how to teach and use them, they use their creativity, they utilize expressional means of dance and music to cultivate children’s awareness of motion and art.
- Syllabus
- - games and education via games – children’s games that contribute to a general harmonic development of a child’s personality, the aim is to improve children’s level of motoric abilities and skills
- - mutual relations and collective feelings – games that support the creation of a positive attitude to the surroundings, games during which children extend their knowledge, they have a possibility to compare their strength with a strength and skills of other children; children create positive relations with other children. A game contributes to an enrichment of cultural behaviour of children.
- - an orientation in individual children games – mastering right movements, new skills and habits
- - motoric and dance games with equipment; these games include mastering movements with equipment, which contributes to an improvement of coordination of motions and an acquisition of new skills and habits
- - music games give children sense of music, children are able to feel it and react on it using movements, mutual relations and games
- - the creation of a lesson – warm-up, preparatory part, spatial exercises, motions with equipment, and games
