Course objectives
The aim of the course is to develop a habit of following (on regular basis) the evolution of lighting and audiovisual technologies. It will introduce students to the most important manufacturers and to the main sources of information about new trends in the industry. On of the goals is to create an online platform where all the findings of students can be shared.
Syllabus
  • Connectivity - protocols, converters etc. Video - media servers, digital light, video mapping Pixelmapping Moving lights Led theater fixtures Led technologies - chips, modules Controlling - consoles, softwares Interactivity - sensors, software Architectural lighting - exterior and interior light fixtures Visualization - techniques, software Rigging Theater buildings Interactive environment Other technologies (sound)

Teaching methods (in Czech)
Předmět probíhá formou semináře. Každý týden je definováno jedno téma diskuze z oblasti nových technologií. Studenti i pedagogové si připraví příspěvky na základě studia periodik a webů či návštěvy veletrhů. V průběhu týdne či během semináře jsou příspěvky vkládány na speciálně vytvořenou wiki stránku.

The evaluation takes in account the presence and active participation of the student and a delivery of a written text treating one of the selected topics
