- Course objectives
- Ensemble singing lessons are an integral part of the musical education of drama students, who encounter polyphonic singing very often in practice. Systematic training increases students' chances of finding employment in theaters, where musical-dramatic works are currently often performed: musicals and plays with a significant musical component. The ability to grasp the required role in terms of singing and acting within the framework of teamwork is significantly enhanced. Students learn to lead their part and at the same time respond appropriately to other colleagues on stage. In higher grades, cooperation with the movement department is expected, as well as work with sound technology
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to maintain the required melodic or harmonic voice within an ensemble in rhythmic, phrasing, and dynamic harmony. They will have a broader overview of the genre spectrum of the ensemble singing repertoire and will be able to apply the acquired knowledge to their own interpretive work. They develop improvisational and creative abilities within their capabilities. They are able to adapt their vocal potential for singing with a microphone or port and collaborate with a sound engineer.

- Rhythm and intonation exercises, auditory analysis, Developing and consolidating knowledge and skills acquired in previous years, teaching tailored to the specific needs of the given year. Polyphonic songs covering a wide range of genres, combining solo and choral performances. Performing the studied repertoire at public performances.
