- Course objectives
- The aim is to achieve the level B1 / B2 to C1 / C2 CEFR depending on the stage of the respective groups, as well as the composition of the "mock-tests" BEC Preliminary (B1 CEFR), BEC Vantage (B2) or BEC Higher (B2-C1 CEFR) again depending on the stage of the corresponding group. The course topics and the learning material contained in eg. A series of textbooks managerial and business English Market Leader (all levels), or Pass Cambridge BEC (all levels) as well as a test workbook leading to the BEC (Macmillan, Oxford, Cambridge). The content is enriched by themes and terminology of the theater specifics. The purpose of the course is also mastery of a particular lexicon-based textbooks Pass Cambridge BEC Prelim / Vantage / Higher or individual levels textbook Market Leader.

- Vocabulary:
Mastery of the Cambridge English Corpus 80% core vocabulary list (B2 CEFR) Mastery of 250 of the most common theatre terms Mastery of 100 specific terms for this atelier
Grammar:
Practice and Mastery of 16 grammatical categories where Czechs most often make mistakes
Writing:
The ability to write various texts which are common in theatre work or for operating a theatre (invitation to performance, performance commentary, reflection on a performance, reviews, statement of artistic objectives, essays, production correspondence etc.).
Reading:
The ability to fluently read expert and technical texts about the theatre written by native speakers.
Conversation:
The ability to apply the above-mentioned vocabulary and grammar in fluent conversation. Public spoken presentation of a semester or year-long project. - Syllabus
- Basic Acquired language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), habits and information, which is a tool of communication in situations of practical and professional life. Focusing on the subject and the interrelation between the appropriate level of language knowledge and skills. Mastering the basic level of language skills and English language competence Business comparable European Framework of Reference (level B1-C1). Ready for orientation and communication in an international context. Fundamentals orientation in foreign literature and on the Internet. Mastering mock test of level through BEC Preliminary BEC Vantage BEC Higher up to at least 60 percent. In this teaching unit, the emphasis is on specific vocabulary management and business English, and is contained in eg. In textbooks and exercise books tests PASS Cambridge BEC Prelim, PASS Cambridge BEC Vantage and PASS Cambridge BEC Higher. This dimension is enriched by management terminology of theatrical and artistic practice.

- Teaching methods
- Regular teaching foreign language in a group according to the advancement, 2 x 90 min. week. Used methods: drilovací, grammar-translation, communication, role-plays, academic writing, business correspondence, audiovisual method etc.
- Assessment methods
- The composition of the sub-control tests at least 60 percent, granting semester graded assessments. Attendance for the semester at least 70 percent (in the case of participation in the study projects the need for an agreement on individual solutions presence with the teacher).
