Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce the student to materials and production processes in the theatre environment.
The student will experience the various activities in the theatre workshops (locksmithing, carpentry, carpentry, painting). The student will learn about the operation of the workshops, planning and production. Students will visit professional workshops during the course of the class.

Descriptors: the student will use the acquired knowledge and skills in his/her future professional life, especially in the position of stage master or production master.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- orient themselves in the individual workplaces of the production workshops,
- elaborate an implementation plan including economic requirements,
- be capable of simple production,
- select suitable materials, technologies and tools for the required production.
