Prerequisites
The elementary prerequisite is a completed secondary education, preferably in the audiovisual field. The student must demonstrate developed talent and independence in co-creating the study program and artistic abilities leading to original audiovisual creation.

Course objectives
Aim of the course: • introduce with the basic genres of journalism and documentary filmmaking in the world of culture with a strong emphasis on the performing arts • understand the history of traditional conceptions of genre categories outside the area of film and their transformation and development in the field of television and film • acquire the basic concepts of film theory and aesthetics of the document and apply it to the analysis of reading literature or seen film • know and understand the specifics of journalism and documentary films about art and accessed as a possible basis for his own work in the field • create your own TV or film documentary or journalistic work with the theme of theater or other arts Descriptors: student can, and is able to: • orient and form TV formats theatrical journalism • orient themselves and create theater or general cultural document • orient themselves and create a television recording or transmission performances to bilateral adaptation, including adaptation "in the movie theater - film in the theater" independent artistic creation, artistic performance, including critical reflection and self-reflection, is able to define a comprehensive practical or theoretical problem and solve it in a creative way with the use of selected theories, methods, procedures and forms for field • create original, publicly presentable journalistic or documentary work, or an adaptation with audiovisual elements of theater and other forms of performing arts not only to design their own artistic performance, but also lead the group in the process of artistic creation, flexibly adapt dramaturgical and directorial conception, technological solutions, including implementation of production and post production possibilities, conditions, artistic intent and the specific situation • bear the consequences of their own artistic creation from social through economic to social and copyright • presentation of original artistic performance of the whole team or to the public, even in international forums and is ready to bear full responsibility for the work group
Learning outcomes
Students will become familiar with the basic genres and forms in the field of documentary production in the world of culture with a strong emphasis on theatrical art. The horizon of work in the subject is to recognize and understand the genre stratification of documentary projects within public television and television channels dedicated to the arts. Emphasis is placed on creating the prerequisites and abilities to cooperate with these media while respecting the format requirements and at the same time finding one's own authorial style. A fundamental prerequisite is also the reading of a selected professional text combined with analysis and, in particular, the creation of a medium-length journalistic or documentary authorial format from the field of art.
