Prerequisites
The subject is intended for students across disciplines who are interested in physical work with the body, place and material, it is constituted in such a way that even English-speaking students can participate
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
In both discussion and action, students follow the line between the topic of physicality, places and events. They work physically both indoors and outdoors. They study the activities of performance art, installation, the body concept, where the body is both subject and object, they work with the theme of performer/spectator/actor, they study the temporality of action, rhythm, belonging in cooperation. In this way, they acquire the skill of self-reflection and presentation in a public space not tied to the theater. It is about working with visual, sound, light means, objects, the art of collaboration, the ability to find multiple perspectives on one topic, art from another place, non-anthropocentric experiencing - sharing. The goal is a non-hierarchical grasp of the situation, material, object, space and body/personality. Strengthening the ability to negotiate within the group and external actors, interaction, resilience.

Syllabus
  • Discussion with students about the content of the course and its fulfillment, research of spaces, means, materials, media and selection of work strategies, physical, spatial, temporal sketches, search for suitable works and sources of inspiration, research. November: situational reflection training and negotiation skills, the role of the actor, body politics, work on the text file. December: realization in selected spaces, aesthetics of the event, collaboration, methods of recording, recording process and medium as part of the event. Presentation of assigned and agreed educational thematic areas by students - student-by-student learning. Presentation. Interdisciplinary discussion and action, interactive conditions and stimuli. Exterior non-hierarchical interventions in the urban environment, in nature, studio and gallery environments. Presentation of course results.
